Energy comprehensive utilization efficiency is an important evaluating index for evaluating thermal economy of distributed energy system. The existing relevant standards on calculating the efficiency without differentiating the energy grade of heat, cool and power is questioned. Analyses two distributed natural-gas energy systems adopting typical power equipment and bearing common loads, and compares their energy comprehensive utilization efficiency values with practical energy output. Finds out that the value of the efficiency is not objective and reasonable for evaluating the thermal economy of the system. Thinks that combining the efficiency index and economic leverage may lead the integration of distributed energy system and operation design to a wrong direction.
